ABBA was formed in 1994 to bring together the persons and resources available in the U.S. and similar more advanced countries to alleviate the desperate, preventable diseases and deaths of the precious people in the Amazon Basin area, now also in Costa Rica.

When God brings us face to face with such desperate physical needs, we are compelled to do something to help! If they are hungry, we give them bread. If they thirst, we provide a way to attain pure drinking water. If they are ill, we provide medicine and treatment. If their teeth are hurting, we bring them to a dentist. If they have no work, we find them training. We do whatever is needed to change the situation, as we are able. But we are overwhelmed and so limited by lack of funds to be able to meet ALL the needs. MUCH HELP IS NEEDED, TODAY!
